One thing I’ve talked about in the past on this blog is about how you need to diversify your income online just in case one stream of income dries up. By doing this you will protect yourself. Majority of people nowadays rely solely on one job to support themselves and their families. However if they get laid off or they get fired then they will lose all their revenue and need to start from scratch again. This can be very dangerous for people who have people that depend on them, credit card payments, mortgages, car payments, etc. If you cannot pay those bills on time you face the risk of losing it all. So why not make money from multiple sources and protect yourself? Better to be safe then sorry right? This is why when I make money online I spread it out as best I can through a verify of affiliate networks, affiliate products, text advertising, etc. Below is a list of the services I’ve used to date that have generated me income online with this blog. The more sources of traffic the better! Making Money With Various Sources Online Google Adsense – this is one of my main sources of income from this blog. If you look at my blog you will notice them on the left column of my blog and above and below my individual blog posts. Basically what these are are text or rich media ads that show in blocks in certain positions within my blog. The great thing about Google Adsense is that it regulars very little work to setup and it basically does all the work for you. It takes into account the content on your page and shows only relevant ads. People can click on them easily and then you earn from those clicks! In the long run unless you have a very large site or multiple niche sites you most likely won’t make a ton with Google Adsense but still its great to have money coming in while you sleep, are on vacation, or just not working! This is also very easy to setup. You can either put the code on to your blog/site manually or you can use a WordPress plugin to insert the code on to your site. Then what happens is that it puts double green lines (default style) under certain keywords that are ads if you mouse over them.
